To achieve the European targets for energy efficiency and climate protection, massive investments into the European building stock will be required during the upcoming decades. The energy performance contract (EPC) is to date the most developed energy service addressing demand side energy savings in the building sector.
EESI2020 has developed trainings for EPC facilitators, made dissemination for the EPC concept and its applications through a short video film in each partner region, has developed a Facilitator Guideline on EPC, and has implemented EPC pilot projects in each of the partner regions.
